| Adam & Eve brought on a double dilemma. Sin and shame. In His justice, God rejected their self-made coverings of fig leaves, but in His mercy, He clothed them in the skins of sacrificed animals. The animal blood symbolized what was necessary to remove their sin; the skins symbolized what was needed to cover their shame. |
